Tsukiji Fish Market

Tsukiji Fish Market is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market of the world. Every morning the activity starts at 3:00 am when the fish arrives by ship, plane and truck; at 5 o'clock starts the auction of tons of tuna, one of the main ingredients of sushi and sashimi. 

In the market it is possible to buy 400 different type of seafood from the small sea urchin to big swordfish. The outer market has several restaurant and shops where it is possible to purchase everything it is needed to prepare and cook fish properly.
